The main goal of the project was to create a corporate website that would allow users to easily find travel packages with quick online booking and payment. To achieve this, we focused on providing all the necessary information about each product and ensuring the booking process was fast, clear, and reliable throughout the entire process.

Analysis and proposal
Our first step was to determine the necessary information to enable end users to make decisions in the most convenient way possible. It’s worth noting that the website content comes from a third-party application (Travel GDS) in unprocessed form. Our goal was to make it easy for users to find the right tour, explore its value, and then book. The result was an increase in independent bookings on the website.
Functionality and design
At every stage, we focused on user experience optimization. This was essential to creating an intuitive and simple user interface that would allow visitors to navigate to the most relevant content in a minimum number of steps.
The product is updated automatically in real time via an API from the main megatec repository. Therefore, standardizing the received information for display in the interface was an important step.
It was crucial to eliminate time delays when displaying available booking dates, accommodations, and additional services such as transfers and insurance to users. Through the effective use of metadata processing technologies and taxonomy applications, we successfully implemented two-way data transfer without delays.
We then expanded the system to include the ability to collect information about end users using OCR technology (scanning official documents). This helped speed up the account creation and tour booking process. We also implemented functionality for adding information to the personal account.
The project has been so successful that, in addition to providing optimal services to travel agents, it has also found a response in the consumer market, where end users plan and purchase tours themselves without visiting an agency office.
Conclusion
We provided an effective solution for searching and booking tours. By creating a leading local platform for tourism professionals and a marketplace for end consumers, VOYAZHTUR opened up the direct booking market and reached a new level.
